What you might not know is that our locally owned and operated company, Greenhouse Towers, produces premium produce in a controlled Greenhouse environment here in the Elkin, North Carolina area.
Our herbs & greens, such as basil and parsley, are cultivated in vertical tower systems rather than traditional dirt beds. This helps keep dirt off the plants while providing constant growing conditions all year long. Additionally, our Beyond Organic plants are grown without the use of any pesticides or chemicals, and our Greenhouse is USDA GAP certified.
We also grow arugula, bibb lettuce, romaine lettuce, and green leaf lettuce. The variety provides home cooks and professional kitchens flexible ingredients for everyday meals, specialty dishes, fresh pesto, herb-forward sauces, salads, and more.

Many of our crops can go from seed to harvest in roughly five weeks. That growth cycle means we can reliably keep a local supply going even during the colder months of the year. This is key for local restaurants, allowing us to more readily manage their recurring needs and ensure they always have fresh herbs & greens, and more.
We also love having local customers visit our Greenhouse in person and choose their produce, or you can take advantage of our online ordering system and convenient pickup. Additionally, you can purchase one of our tower systems and start growing your own herbs & greens and fresh produce. We even offer seedlings, including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, greens, and even marigolds.
